I would interpret it to mean that when infractions are committed against players, that they will be called.

This will benefit star players more than other players because star players are better and have the puck in dangerous situations more often, thus more infractions are committed against them.

If you don't call penalties when they occur it only benefits the Derian Hatcher's of the league.

That's some ugly biting from the LA player in Brady Tkachuk. Should get serious punishment for that.

He sure is. And he makes himself look like a dumbass every single time he whines that his boy Conner isn't able to do whatever he wants.

But that's not what was said.

I mean if that's what was meant, why not just say that the belief is that star players would earn more penalties if the game was called with zero discretion. Basically, no one gets a pass. If that's the NHL you want, I guess we could just do all star games for 82 games a year. That'd be super fun and your boy would get 300 points a season! Yay!

Furthermore....those LA silver helmets are goddamned tragedy. Whoever thought that would be a good idea and whoever greenlit that idea both need to experience a savage beating.

That was so cute when Ron said that was the first time in 38 games the Oilers won without a point from either Leon or McWhiny. He actually thought it was a good thing. Ron loves his Oilers.

That chomp on Brady's hand is ugly. Hope Lemieux gets nailed to the wall for that.

In the Lemieux family that is considered foreplay.

Pretty funny when you think about it.

That stat means the depth has been poor. But somehow its a great thing that should be commended.

I think Ron just really wants in on their lunches. Has to be his endgame.

Like father, like son. The oldies in this group will remember his Dad, Claude Lemieux, biting Jim Peplinski during a scrum in the 1986 Stanley Cup finals.

I got bitten in my scrum once. That's why I can't have kids.

The Coyotes lose again, 3-2 in regulation to the Stars.

The only other OOT game in progress has the Avalanche leading 3-1 late in the second period over the Predators. Rantanen has two goals so far, both scored in the first period. Landeskog with two assists. Rittich in net for the Predators.
