I loved those, I was gifted a game worn U-18 Team Canada (White and puck marks) from when my buddy represented Team Canada. ODR favourite and I wear it when watching Canada play. I also have a Rick Nash 2010 Olympic Jersey(good memories/vibes jersey).

Not a fan of a new maple leaf design every few years. I mean, how many iterations of a stylized maple leaf have we seen now? They should just design a nice crest, like many of the Euro countries, and stick with it for all international competition.

The abomination on the left is not a Canadian maple leaf. It would be like drawing Mickey Mouse with square ears, or the McDonald's logo with circular arches.
One of the first rules of marketing is— don't mess with the trademark. When you're dealing not with trademarks but with national symbols, that goes approximately triple.
