Off topic but don't switch to the Oilers game. Every time a Dallas player is near an Oiler the announcers are arguing for a penalty, every single play. Brutal, the league should tell Sportsnet announcers to turn down the lobbying.
Now back to a good game.

I think the off-season had something to do with it. The team plays with a faster pace, and their conditioning. Hell of a lot of Sutter.

I liked what Lucic said during the intermission interview. He alluded to the fact that Darryl told the team they were flat this morning, so they wanted to get it going for Darryl.
That should leave no doubt who the leader is on this team. Coaches do matter.
