Who’s losing Al Michael’s ? I said I’m not convinced this team is upper echelon and I think their schedule has been against a majority of bad teams making their schedule soft so far.

No one has proven anything of merit to me so as to change my mind. I will keep watching and reading here.

I hate to break it to you, but nobody cares. You have on opinion on a board where literally thousands of viewpoints are shared daily. You're one voice in a sea of many. If you want to play the contrarian, fine, but you have to know people are going to take you to task on how you arrived at that viewpoint, and you cannot get upset when they challenge you.

Basically, either argue in good faith and quit with the whining, or don't post at all. Either suits me fine.

I can stand to debate in good faith. It’s why I’m here and why I keep coming back for the punishment.

Sure there are thousands of opinions being shared everyday but I want to find the ones with meat on them. Our posters can be very diligent and fair at times. We can also be extreme at either end of the spectrum.

I say things I believe in. I defend them when it calls for it and I whine when people hit below the belt. Attack my arguments not me. What have I done to anyone other than not play sycophant as they do? It’s not even contrarian. I said the flames will struggle to breach 200 goals as a team. I stand by it. It doesn’t look to promising of a prediction at the moment but it’s one that I will support with integrity because I posted it for all to see and won’t move the goal posts to lessen my shame in being wrong.

Sure the only thing I’m discouraged about is my prediction. Even then that’s a happy mistake. If they exceed that it’s a welcome surprise.

Yet what are the obvious facts I’m being contrary to? They are first in the conference. I see that. They have a great goal differential. I see that. The team is playing some of the best hockey it has in years. I see that despite my rash early season declarations. I could be wrong.
