So when it's all said and done, Chiefs will have home field advantage through the playoffs again.

Oh no you need to go further back in time than that. The Patriots beat Tennessee next week and its them.
KC is a bit of a fraud having gone 5-0 against the NFC thru 11 games.they would need the best record outright to do that.
It's going to be New England and Indy in the AFC Title game, two teams who can run and play defence with game manager QB's...a far cry from those past encounters.

Nothing scary left on the Chiefs schedule so I think it's them. We'll see what happens in the playoffs though.

As mentioned for the past year, this really will be the last year for Wilson in Seattle.
He's going to continue to butt heads with Carrol and Schneider.
Him coming back from the finger thing is as more for his personal brand (and don't get me wrong, he's a focused intense guy) then coming back to help the team, when the season is and was all but done. He has two dynamic recievers but no running game, nor a tight end that he has relyed on his entire career to get him out of trouble. Him coming back is to make sure he shows he's healthy in the offseason allows him to release a hype video, but his play on the field these last two games is of a guy who's nowhere near 100%.
The chasing and trying to convince Beckham unsuccessfully as mentioned is another powerplay towards management more then it is getting a diva on the team..See his pursuit of Antonio Brown last few seasons and others, which seems more for show then practicality.
Last offseason it looked to get messy, him going off script and it landing at the feet of the OC. Now he has his own OC who will let him do whatever and it has shown long before he got hurt they he doesn't have the answers he thinks he does. I don't think the relationship breakdown with management will recover, so my thought is that this offseason it will be dealt with swiftly. Deshaun Watson, come on down and Seattle can get out from under the cloud that Wilson has created in his attempt to be coach and GM these past few years, nevermind his cap hit.

Even by Syl's usual hating his own team standards this is a pretty good one. For one, the NFC is the superior conference so using a 5-0 record against the NFC as proof the Chiefs are kind of frauds is hilarious. For another Indy isn't even in a playoff spot right now lol. Chiefs have a decent shot to win out, especially if their defense really has gone from complete sieve to competent unit.

Why are the Saints paying this guy so much money? I just don't get it.

Yeah, but again, you need to look deeper than that. The AFC West is 10-3 against the Powerhouse that is the NFC East so far. Their other game was against the Jordan Love Packers who dare I say are a fair bit below the Aaron Rogers version.
The Chiefs have a bad Conference record and losses to Baltimore, Buffalo, and Tennessee on their resume. That's a lot of Tie Breakers to overcome for top record in the Conference.
As for Indy...we are 10 games into a 17 game season and they were 1-4. Give them 7 more games and we'll see what they are. They're getting healthier and are trending the right way. One injured kicker and another OT loss from being on a 7 game win streak.

I hope Jonathan Taylor wins the MVP as a Titans fan.
1) He will get an even bigger raise and count more against the cap
2) Imagine how pissed off Derrick Henry will be for the playoffs if he sees Taylor win the MVP

Jason Garrett is no good, but Daniel Jones is also no good. And giving Saquon a big deal will obviously be a catastrophic mistake, which of course means they'll do it. Life is pretty grim for the Giants right now. Only upside is the Bears pick might be top 10 so they'll have two top 10 picks to try and get Russ or Deshaun, but their team stinks and isn't a QB away or even close.

There will likely be a houscleaing for the Giants from the GM down in the offseason anyway. Garrett is just getting his pink slip a few months early.
