"Flames have changed the coach a bunch of times. It isn't the coach. Repeating the same thing over and over again is stupidity."

Hire a god-damned @#$#@ good coach at least once. See what happens. Good stuff happens. Lots of it.

Dan Vladar is a solid goalie, hard to score on. I had to look it up on how the Flames acquired him, for a 3rd round pick in 2022 from the Bruins.

Was a good game, good pace and I wasn't sure how the Flames would play in this last of 7 game trip but wow.

I have to agree with the other poster about the difference Darryl is making, the conditioning is very noticeable I think. And our top players were here all along.

Juuso Valimaki with a good game and assisted on the GWG, impressive 16:40 icetime too!

Tkachuk with another 2 points.
Mangiapane and Gaudreau with goals again and they just keep scoring.

Unreal roadtrip and good to see the Flames winning and picking up points this early in the season.

Who'da thunk a real coach could make such a difference? Bet the owners are wishing they'd acted earlier.

Sutter has these guys playing incredible support hockey...they are always working to help out, clean up mistakes, skate like hell to break up a rush...whatever it takes. Great to see. Loved the Johnny hit too! (And he's turned into a pretty decent backchecker and defensive forward when he needs to be. Brad better have the Brinks truck loaded up and ready.)

Great game! Would have thought they'd be gassed, particularly after the 3rd period last night. Wow. Just. Wow.

The Flames have the #1 GA/G with 2.00 and 7 shutouts. They are a strong offensive team with the 8th best GF/G at 3.28. They also have the #1 goal differential with 27.

Meanwhile, the Panthers have the #1 GF/G with 3.95, are also very strong defensively with a 2.50 GA/G for 5th in the league, are undefeated at home, and have the 2nd best goal differential with 24.

Both teams are currently the #1 team in their conferences.

Now, full disclosure, the pandemic has done a number on my psyche, so I fully assume that I've gone into a fever dream and that none of this is real. There's no reality where both of my teams could be so good at the same time, especially considering history.

Don't pinch me, I'll happily live out my days in this psychic break of winning.

Tre talked about him in the first intermission and said that he was spotted and scouted by Sigalet ... so hat tip there.

Right? I always watch a few times and only once do I focus on Yanet. Usually.... But yeah I love to hunt for the hidden treasures all over the place in Zamler's gifs

All this talk about the Flames’ schedule. It’s nice knowing that opposing teams are going to start viewing us as a real tough out, and especially a tough team to score on.

Been a while since I found myself actively planning schedules around Flames games. Don't want to miss a.minute of games these days and it's definitely exciting seeing big upcoming games in the calendar again.

That’s an A+ From me sir. I’m not convinced about Zadorov, he has some good passages of play and some horrible. But the rest? Absolutely. I haven’t seen Trevor Lewis make a single mistake this season. ALWAYS makes the start play. I was very nonplussed with that signing, but he’s impressed me.
