Isles just seem to be hanging on for dear life for most of the game so far. They counter punch a bit but nothing comes of it.

Flames are flying today. Whole group is dialed in.

They squeeze the hope out of opponents when they are going like this.

Only issue has been discipline. But not like PKs are a problem for them these days either.

I think the total costs include the entire entertainment district they built.

I’m enjoying the score, but the game could really use fewer PPs. I hate watching one PP after another. There’s no flow to the play and it becomes really boring.

Correct me if Iam wrong. But Sutter hockey is all about possession and speed as we know. He prefers short pass to pass but he is not afraid for a long pass through the neutral zone as long as It has a high success rate. He will not allow his fowards to enter the zone and blindly button hook. He wants down low play to attack and bring the puck back to the defense once they are set at the blue line. He is all about gap control and if the other team has the puck you take away the space between the opposition and yourself as soon as possible.

Does this sound about right ?

Ya can you imagine with the reffing. Already we have lost two OT games because of blatant missed calls that resulted in 2 on 1's and goals.

Having depth guys like magiapane and Kylington break out, when your top guys are delivering, is how you win championships.

I'd really like to see guys like Coleman and Backlund have more results. The Flames are really just missing a couple more .5ppg guys.
