Best of it all, it turned out that Tevez who scored the winner wasn't even owned by West Ham and wasn't eligible to play.

lol, surely Fergie was smirking, during that apology too.

Weird few minutes of play in the Watford-Man Utd game earlier. Bruno Fernandes slices the ball back into his own box leading to McTominay clumsily conceding a penalty. I think a red would've been harsh but he doesn't even get a yellow. Watford player takes one of the weakest penalties I've seen in a long time, De Gea saves but another Watford player scores the rebound. However a retake is rightly ordered as he (and a bunch of Utd players) was encroaching. Bizarrely, Harry Maguire is arguing with the ref over the decision to retake. The commentators suggest he doesn't understand the rules and I genuinely wonder if he thought the retake meant Watford get a chance to score a second goal. After making a hash of the first peno, the same player steps up again for some reason and of course De Gea saves again.

Not firing him in the international break was pure idiocy, although very on brand for the club in the Glazer era. Now watch them follow up botching that decision with hiring Rodgers.

Spurs clearly won the “loser leave town” match at this point. Sure, it was painful for the short-term, but at least Levy & Co. made a quick move.

Actually the worst case is another pulling it from the fire to save Ole’s job again. Ronaldo with two in stoppage time incoming.

Elite captain mentality from Maguire, ensuring Ole gets fired.

I don't know why Manchester United supports are so keen to blame Ole when the problem is pretty clearly with Ronaldo. He contributes nothing defensively and the rest of the team has to carry him so that he can get a couple of highlight reel goals every match. The rest of the league are just out-working them every match because they have a player that just can't track back, he doesn't have the legs. Only Ben Foster (a goalkeeper) and Thiago Silva (a centre-back) are older players who have played in the PL this season.

the whole situation just sucks. Ole should have been fired a long time ago already, but hiring Rodgers would be a terrible idea. Would be classic United though.

Club has been in a mess for a long time character wise.

You know what sticks in my head regarding the Liverpool mauling?
Ronaldo surrounded by 6-7 Liverpool players and only Bruno in sight. No guts. No fight.

Then today. You put Lingard on the pitch a day after he puts a pic of himself on social media in a WHU top.
He should be rotting in the reserves until June.

Get a bunch of academy kids in that will actually gaf.

Pogba. Martial. Lingard. How can you expected to win anything with their nonch bs.

And get that armband off Maguire and give it to CR.
