I kinda liked Millen's colour. Don't get me wrong I much prefer Hrudey, but it was nice to hear someone pump up the Flames.
The Flames need to stop with the dumb penalties. That's living wayyyyyyyy to close to the edge. A point felt a bit lucky when you are short 6 times.
Markstrom was clutch, especially on the penalty shot (right call btw).

You hit the nail on the head a few times.
Kudos to Flames PK. They were fantastic.
Overall team not great in second and third. Markstrom was solid.
Kylington still makes an occasional blunder but he is looking legit.
Gaudreau was amazing.
And I liked Millen. Yeah he was all all about the Flames but I enjoyed his color and was a nice break from Hrudey who is so laid back and sometimes predictable.
This team is missing a goal scorer.

This is the biggest issue.
I was hoping Coleman would supply some supplemental scoring and make up for Monahan's lost offense, but he only has 3 goals and is on pace for 15 goals. Hopefully he gets hot soon.

Time to give Kylington some more responsibility, he's earned it and deserves more ice time. 3-on-3 OT a no-brainer, and would like him to get some looks on the PP as well.

Some of those penalties were not because of dumb players, but dumb officials. There's really nothing you can do about that.
It isn't the only way the officiating has hurt lately. Let's not forget, one of the team's previous OTLs was directly caused by the referees failing at their jobs. A blatant trip turned a 3-on-3 into a 3-on-2, followed by an illegal pick to make it a 2-on-1, and Bob's your uncle.
That said, I hope they put in some serious practice time at 3-on-3 after the road trip. It would be very helpful if they could finish the season at even money in three-point games.

I guess I wasn't the only one. Weird how I can't differentiate between voices especially ones I expect to hear.
All color guys sound like Kelly Hrudey to me.

At least they keep picking up points in their losses but 0-5 in OT? Lol
Good thing playoff hockey isn't played 4 on 4 and Sutter has this team playing great 5 on 5 hockey.

You really don’t hear the difference in their voices?
It’s a few people now. Weird
I picture seeing yellow and orange and not being able to distinguish
Oddly this is the biggest revelation for me this game

I've listened to Boomer for like 10 years thinking he was Steinberg this whole time.

I’m pretty sure his stats are heading in to the game, overall for the season. New line combos have N/A

The lines are pre game coming into the contest, not the game itself. My summary at the end had only 4 or 5 players in the black.

Millen and Galley sound very similar
For years I was assuming Millen only to find out it was Galley. This year it's been Millen of late (Galley earlier)

That is really a small sample size to be basing an analysis upon ..
Mangiapane Monahan Coleman have had at least one shift together in 15 games and have a total of 41 minutes together over those 15 games
Gaudreau Lindholm Tkachuk on the other hand have played with virtual no one else 184 minutes in 16 games
Dube Backlund Lewis 36 minutes in 16 games
Pitlick richardson and Lucic 24 minutes in 6 games

I had similar hopes for Coleman but it doesn't seem he has much offensive skill as I expected. He will score some goals because he is a smart player and fast, and gets to the right places, but he won't create much. Still a huge positive when he's on the ice.
Dube is another guy who is not producing any offense. Those are two players I would have hoped for maybe 45 or 50 goals this season, and they're on pace for a combined 20. That and a fading Monahan is making scoring hard to come by.
