Gaudreau is by far the best player on the ice, really impressive game from him. Backlund and Lindholm owe him a couple of assists.
Hopefully Hayes comes back alright. Tough to see that and you hope it's nothing serious.
Flames look good, but the Flyers have had their moments too. However if the game stays 5v5, I like the Flames chances. Feels like Johnny will break through in the 3rd.

Well, they went though a long period of their own version of the "Wideman" effect and their main rival was the NHL golden child for 2 generations and gets favouritism from the refs every time they played.
The Flyers are kindred spirits to the Flames IMO.

I have to give Hart some credit. In the beginning of the season, he was all over the place, but tonight he seems to be covering the angles so well.

Of course, I swear 90% of Sportsnets on air talent are Oiler fans. I forget his name but there was that one goof who constantly called the Flames the shames during Sportsnet broadcasts.
