Yeah he has 1 good game followed by 5 bad to average games. Rinse and repeat with some pp points sprinkled in between. He should be trade bait at deadline no matter where we are in standings.

Of course, can the Flames ever do anything wrong according to dino7c? Its a superstar team just always getting bad breaks.

Yep
Calls out "planning the parade"
Yet is throwing the towel in on the season after 2 losses that followed a 10 game point streak.

Does anyone think that game ends the same way if pp's are 5-2 for the Flames?

Oh god, you just couldn't wait for a couple losses could you
What about what I said was wrong? The Mangiapane call was brutal, he got held. Winning goal was scored on said power play.

It was a bit of a frustrating game to watch as it seemed like the Flames couldn't really get going and into any kind of rhythm. I thought the Habs played well in their own end and didn't really leave a lot of time and space tonight.
I thought Tkachuk actually had a good game and had quite a few chances although it says he only had 1 shot and was a -1.
Habs were 2/5 on the PP and that's essentially the game right there, there was a couple of pretty soft calls in my view.
I also don't think Zadorov should have been out there with the empty net although he was okay, you need more of a playmaker and he made a couple of wild passes in my view.
It was a tough game and the Habs played well with a good goalie but I hope the Flames don't wait for too many losses like this to make roster adjustments for better depth. I also think Dylan Dube needs to play more sheltered minutes because I just don't see much from him, he's a solid player but we need production.
May have been the toughest game of this trip.

How about we stop whining about penalty calls and call it like it was. Flames played like garbage today and deserved to lose.
But nope, #1 fanboy will never see it differently lol

It’ll sound conspiracy theory-ish but I think that ice was bad, and it favoured the Habs sort of flailing chaotic style. The Flames should have taken a page and just tossed pucks at the net and crashed it.

Just enjoy the loss ####face...leave me out of it
Telling you hardly post unless the Flames lose
Flames played poor, they still lost the game in a bad call

Oddly, yes.
The Flames deserved to lose this one. Too many players had off nights. Poor execution all over the ice.
I was hoping the top guys would punch in at least one solid period and that would have made all the difference in a game like this one.
I hope the lines get shaken up to start tomorrow night. They’ll need something extra to give them some jump on the 2nd night of a back to back after such a poor showing tonight. I’d also expect to see Valimaki and possible Stone draw in.
On the positive side, Kylington is exactly what this team needed. He may make the odd mistake, but his playmaking and desire every shift to make an offensive difference has been a game changer for this team.

Frustrating game to watch as Montreal got their playoff style checking game in order. This one reminded me a lot of the loss against Dallas.
The game winner was a terrible goal, especially by Markstrom.
On to the next one, I hope Vladar plays well against the Leafs shooters. Going to need a really strong effort and to play aggressively the whole game.
I'd like to see Valimaki and Stone come in for a game. Thought Gudbranson had a rough night.

Cute.
Flames should always win because they are so good. Silly refs and bad bounces that always get in the way lol

Okay, sure. Let's agree there.
Can you tell us why that may be the case?
I'm asking sincerely.
I have an opinion as to why (Lindholm-Monahan down the middle lack the usual ability with the puck that the vast majority of star centres possess, and this team is too reliant on its star wingers and it's not a way to build a tea.) but I want to hear your take.

Flames weren’t great, could easily have won though - they carried the first period - just not enough actually in the crease. Reffing was normal. So bad.

So odd you have hardly posted this season but are back now for some reason.
Anyway stop talking stupid ####
I never said they played good. That Mangi call was brutal and the winning goal was scored on that PP.
