Further to this point, it’s no surprise the two best on air talents on 960 are Boomer and Pinder, both of whom know how to play to the crowd as easily as they can wind them up.

Tuned into the start of Marek Show. He begins the segment talking about how last nights games had a lot of big hits. He sites numerous examples from every game, of course no mention of the flames game or the zadorov hit. I turned it off after that.

Other than when Friedmann's on, it's a dud of s show for me.

On Tuesday he was still asking most of his guests about the McDingus goal on Friday.

Not sure how it nets out overall.

Rome is kind of like cigarettes.

Nobody really likes them in the beginning, and you really gotta force it down the first few times. For many people this is as far as they get. Others though, a pack or two later becomes not too bad. Especially once inhaling smaller drags is learned to be less nauseating. A few decks later, the urge to puke is gone and you're kinda hooked. You can inhale as deep as you like, and fire one up right after the other. At a certain point though you realize how stupid it is, and the enjoyment you used to get really isn't there anymore so you decide to quit.

Some people quit cold turkey, others wean off. Some don't want to quit at all or just cant, while the lucky ones never try them in the first place.

Getting real deep about Rome here.

Rome is... Rome.

Mostly its a lot of noise, but sometimes you make friends with it because it becomes familiar.

Like that CBS host on at midnights.. Amy? Being up late working on projects over the years and having the radio still on from overtime her show just became a comforting, familiar routine eventually that i grew to like, even though if I wasn't busy I would probably choose sleep or a lot of other things over that program.

Wow, CBS Sports Radio for the morning drive. No NHL, no CFL, no local sports of any kind, just endless talk of the NFL. Hope it's just today because of Remembrance Day, otherwise I'll be changing stations in the morning.

I noticed that Scott Ferrall and Amy Lawrence actually talk about hockey a lot more than all the other CBS people.
More than Rome does as well.

Especially Scott Ferrall. He's a huge Penguins fan and genuinely follows hockey.

Well you should be ok unless Remembrance Day is the new Groundhog Day, then CBS Sports Radio is your Sonny & Cher.

Scott Ferrall isnt on CBS anymore is he? I thought he went to some betting show on some obscure network. I enjoyed his show when it came on in the late evenings. Amy Lawrence on the other hand, ughh. Cant stand listening to her show.

Genuinely good luck...the more airtime you soak up the less Eric Francis the Calgary market gets moving forward. The hopes of CP rest on your shoulders "TheScorpion".
