Yeah he's on a lot but I think he's one of the best callers overall. That's probably why they always put him on early.

David Gray on the Eyeopener just had a fantastic segment with Willie Joosen. What a gem. Some great stories, including the time he thought the Canucks were the Sharks and started playing the US anthem by mistake.
I'll come back with a link once the segment gets posted to the website —#it's worth a listen.

Anyone ever watch the game then listen to game in a minute by Derek wills the next game?
He does not describe the goals how they happen at all. He is so bad at describing goal which is his job it is unbelievable. A good radio PBP guy makes you imagine the play. Wills does not do that at all.
That Kylinton goal was described as "tanev to Kylinton, he scorrressss.
My son could describe it like that.

The worst part is he's got a legit PBP guy sitting beside him every night. I don't even dislike the guy as much as some, but Wills has an NHL voice combined with AHL PBP abilities.

Jeff Marek is insufferable. Can't escape him though, he is everywhere you turn. Not sure how people can stand him. Sounds like a university professor trying too hard to talk about hockey. He only likes to talk about the Leafs or McDavid and doesn't seem like he knows much about the other teams. Can't stand him.

He doesn't seem to know much about the 7 canadian teams aside from the Leafs and one player on Edmonton.
He tries too hard with words and poetry when talking about hockey.
Tries to be philosophical for no reason.
Those are my biggest 3 reasons.
