I’ll say the first episode of Yellowstone season 4 was pretty damn good. I’m sure people will hate it though.

Prime Video has finally acknowledged to me that Yellowstone exists.
Did you guys know that there's a ####ton of 80s movies on Prime?

I need a streaming service that is basically only 80s TV shows all the time as well. I have set up a CRT TV in my living room that basically just plays Miami Vice, Magnum PI, and LA Law DVDs all the time. There aren't enough 80s movies on Prime. I think I've seen them all but I did watch Afterhours (1985) last weekend.

I'm just starting Yellowstone, two episodes in. How did I miss this for so long? It feels like this is the role Kevin Costner was born to play, he's outstanding.

Season 1 was good. Season 2 makes you realize that Season 1 was not so good. Season 3 ups the game.
So far I'm enjoying season 4.

Ha ha ha the first episode of season 4 is so horrible yet I can't wait to watch the 2nd episode. This may be the best bad TV series ever.

Yellowstone is great for entertainment. It's also completely ridiculous, but I'm just watching it to be entertained.

Yellowstone is awesome! Love this series, first two episodes of season 4 are great. Also, love all the scenery in the show; so close to Alberta.

Suspension of disbelief is key.

I'm not sure why TV or Movies have to be 100% realistic to be worth watching but some people want it that way.

As long as I find it entertaining then I'm good with it.

I don’t know if I can sit through much of Yellowstone to be honest. I think all the performances are fine, just don’t like the way it’s put together. And the dialogue is laughably over the top at times.
I liken it to Suits. I like the premise, and the individual characters, but the hammyness will take me out of it before I can finish probably.

What season are you on? If you are watching season 1, I would advise to at least stick with it until season 2 which is considerably better. Season 1 isn't really that good but season 2 & 3 are night and day better.

Based on your post in the other thread I assume you're on Season 1. Push through season one and give season 2 a chance.

Season 1 really did start off slow for me and I pushed through it, mostly because I like to finish what I start and it has to be really bad for met to give up on. I found Season 2 to be much better.

I’d liken it more to Breaking Bad. Outlandish plots ruled by non-stop coincidences, no sign of realism but masquerading as gritty, constant nail biting cliffhangers, strong male lead who gets more evil by the episode, constant manufactured conflict and addicting as all hell.

I'm no gun expert. Never shot one in my life and I always wondered in shows where for example people are in gun fights and they flip over a desk to shield them from automatic weapon fire if the wood would be enough to stop the bullets from passing through.

In the vein of "it's impossible to find stuff in Prime", reading the "I need a new TV series to get into (old or new) v2" thread, I looked up 30 rock on Prime. Sure enough, it's there.
