It'd be great if we could do that now with Markstrom's shutouts, but I bet the arena staff would kill idea immediately as it'd cover part of the energy ring.
Anyone have second level row 1 seats and want to try?????

I get it was a tricky situation where he was too good for junior and not eligible for the AHL after he was drafted, but probably not ready for the NHL either.

It's weird how unnoticeable he is. Usually those top picks even if they don't pan out you can see the physical talent when they are young. He just looks like random player x out there.

One of the best things after that Tkachuk goal was his celebration, or lack thereof. If that would have been another team, they would have skated the length of the ice and acted like they had just won the cup.

If you watched his post game interview it was like he was almost sorry he scored that way and totally downplayed the goal.
Captain material!

I honestly don’t get all the bellyaching about Cassie Campbell. I think she’s just fine, and she and Singh were a good duo last night. I really liked how Singh called the game actually.

Apparently the Rangers were a tired team two nights ago in the 3rd when the Oilers tool that game from them, they were also a tired team against the Flames
No Cassie, they are pro fcking athletes in their prime, they weren't "tired" and there are no other excuses.....they got STEAM ROLLED coming through 'Berta. LETS GO! 1

She’s GREAT on intermission panels, but doesn’t seem to have the vision or NHL insight to keep up with the speed of play. She is regularly incorrect in her in-the-moment analysis of what occurs. That’s not the end of the world, but she is limited in other dimensions too.
She has no interesting anecdotes to relay from her own hockey background to help entertain between breaks in play. She could tell a story about a brusing D she went up against in the Olympics… but none of us would know what she was talking about. That’s not her fault, but it’s one less tool in her toolkit.
She also seems to go out of her way to praise the Oilers. That triggers a lot of folks around here. I assume it’s her attempt to ‘balance’ because her family works for the Flames.
Great to break the glass ceiling, and we need more women calling sports, but they should go with the ones most talented at it. Cassie Campbell is souring the well with her heavy use in a role she isn’t suited to. She may improve with time, but you shouldn’t be “learning on the job” at the NHL level.
I’d like to see more of Cassie in a panelest role where she has time to break down content. She’s excellent at that. And a classy balance to frat manchild Bieksa.
I think Singh is fantastic.

She may be one of the worst broadcasters ever. It's one thing to have terrible takes on plays and timing. Having that monotone voice just takes it to a whole different level. Get her the eff off our broadcasts.

I don’t know if it was discussed. But if I can make a request… I’d really like to see an AC video on the whole Fox thing (boos, the goal cele, the review, and the final score) before any Flames highlight packages! So fun!

Yup she's so "bad" she was lured away by ESPN for 10 times her HNIC salary and she just moon lights on HNIC now. Rather listen to her takes than most of the takes on this site.

Took my boy to the game for his 6th birthday, and he was so psyched that the flames won 6-0. He loved the boos and fox you suck chants, and lost his voice from yelling. What a great game!

Tre has put together a great roster and his signings have paid dividends. I’m glad he picked a coach who can get the best out of the players and that Tre built the roster to the coach’s strengths. That’s real GM skill. You’d have to be clueless to think otherwise.

Markstrom went nine seasons and 115 starts until he posted his first NHL shutout.
He now has four in his last nine games.

Part of me is starting to think that Tkachuk's off year last year was due to not having any fans in the buildings. The guy just feeds off of energy

"The small minded Calgary fans are still giving Fox #### when they're up 6 goals. Classy."
this coming from fans who chant Potvin Sucks 40+ years after the Nilsson hit, which was clean btw
