I just seen that McDavid goal from last night and that was probably the best stick handling goal I’ve ever seen. Literally four guys on him waiving their sticks and he moves around each one simultaneously. While I don’t like the Oilers he’s the most talented player I’ve ever seen I do admit. Crazy.

The Jets had no problem against the Bhawks beating them 5-1. Copp had 3 assists. Chicago only had 18 shots on goal.

The Ducks goalie Stolarz almost had a shutout. He was 8 seconds away from it when the Coyotes Gostisbehere scored. The Coyotes simply can't score, they've only scored more than a goal in a game once in the past 7 games. The goaltending isn't the problem with Vejmelka in net. He made 28 saves in the loss.

The Kings win 3-2 in OT over the Devils. Balanced scoring for the Kings as 9 players each had a point. Both teams were great on the PK.

That was a wild 3rd period in Edmonton, the Oilers out shot the Rangers 15-4. The Oilers have scored a PPG in every game so far this season.

LOL on the Canucks. The Predators squeak out a 3-2 win in reg time. The key in this game were the special teams and the Canucks suck in those categories. Their PK was 1/3 and the PP was 0/5 and even worse at 0/17 during their slump. It was so bad that the Predators had quality chances while shorthanded. On the flip side, the Predators were perfect on the PK, 2 PPGs, and won most of the faceoffs.

3 less points than the Oilers who have played backups and tired teams every other game. One playoff team from last year that was missing its entire top line out of 11 games.

Rangers with their winless backup is the best team the Oilers have beat...and it was very close

You’ll have to take my word for it but I said the exact same thing about similar goals that Nash, Matthews etc scored. Great skill but every goal like that that goes through half the line involves bad D. That’s all.

Perhaps, I am writing to myself but it is November. You can make the playoffs by American thanksgiving and treading water thereafter, but we all know what it is like to back into the playoffs.



It is a long season - longer than most. 82 games is a grind. We've had two shortened seasons in a row. I do wonder about how much they will have in the tank after playing 25 minutes a night when they have to play 82 games plus fly over to China and play a high intensity tournament in between before the playoffs.
