Anyone ever seen Aaron Rodgers and JFK Jr. in the same room?

You can never count out teams like the Patriots or Saints but if he clears waivers I would place my bets on him landing with the Raiders as they just restructured Jelen Richard's contract this morning so they have just under $4 million in cap space. It's clear they plan on acquiring a player.

I dont think so, DeSean Jackson makes a lot more sense, they need someone who can keep the safeties honest on deep routes, beckham cant do that anymore

I'm sure OBJ wants to go to the Raiders for that sweet sweet Carr action
seriously this guy is the most under rated QB in the league, although that seems to be changing

Who's a bigger clown? Rodgers or Beasley? I would have to say Rodgers because he was deceitful rather than coming clean. Had he never got COVID he would have continued to pretend he was vaccinated.

I do think anyone interested in the Rogers stuff should listen to his spot on McAfee's show today. He gives a pretty long winded answer to things. But some of this quotes without the entire context can be construed a lot of ways.
He did acknowledge that based on the NFL's definition that he is an unvaccinated player and that he has had to follow the protocols that an unvaccinated player would. He says his teammates and coaches were all aware of this. So he is getting tested every day, he has a different set of rules that he is to abide by. The mask in press conferences is where he is being a bit defiant based on his thought that he get's tested every day, and every one else entering is vaccinated.
He claims to be allergic to ingredients in the two mNRA vaccines, and was not comfortable with the Johnson and Johnson.
Some of his stuff is a bit out there, and he did play a bit on that well if the vaccine is so good, than why are vaccinated people worried card. Which seems to suggest that he might not understand that the goal is not prevention as much is it is to reduce the severe outcomes.
I don't think Rogers is a hard core misinformation spreading Anti-Vaxxer after listening to it. It might cost him some sponsorships and the like, but I think he's far from the worst thing about the NFL.

He also used the term “woke crowd”, mentioned Joe Rogan being a friend, and compared himself to MLK.

Jesus, are you serious? Sure he’s not the worst thing ever, especially when another guy just killed a woman going 200km/h while twice the legal limit.
But he’s also arguably the leagues biggest star and is a hardcore anti vaxxer. You’re giving him way too much credit and covering up for him. It’s shameful and embarrassing.
He questioned the efficacy of masks and brought up the dangers of CO2 inhalation.
He said he’s taken invermectin.
He said anti vaxxers are being persecuted and brought up MLK, claiming fighting the unjust rules are righteous.
He questioned whether vaccines cause infertility.
He claimed testing the unvaxxed more frequently than they vaccinated is not based on science.
He questioned whether the vaccine works at all by bringing up vaccinated people getting covid and dying.
He suggested there’s a conspiracy by wondering why the vaccine manufacturers have immunity.
He called the league doctor a stooge.
He called the quest to get players vaccinated unjust coercion.
He talked to Joe Rogan and claimed to have collected 500 pages of his own research to prove his claims.
No he’s not the worst thing ever in the nfl but that’s just because the nfl has so many ####ing degenerates. But this is pretty damn bad and shame on you for trying to rationalize it and downplay it.
Rodgers is a star and a public figure. His misinformation will convince some vaccine hesitant people and it will cost them their lives. He won’t kill anyone in a fiery crash but he will end up endangering more lives than Henry Ruggs. That’s a fact.

In the beginning of the interview you could tell he was reading off of something as he kept looking down. This wasn't from the heart, he obviously had people around him put something together for some sort of damage control.

For whatever reason him calling the guy working for the NFL a stooge posted me off more than anything. Some guy doing his job who might actually believe he’s doing a good thing. Guess there are a lot of stooges out there Aaron.

Was a fan of Rogers but have certainly lost respect for the guy. For a guy who touts himself as intelligent he was that afraid of defending his choices? Other QB's owned it at the start of the season and I don't see any woke mobs taking them down. Jackson, Wentz, Cousins - they straight up owned it.

Rodgers being anti-Covid vaxx isn't really the issue to me, Cousins and Wentz and others are not vaccinated. But they also never claimed they were vaccinated and/or immunized or whatever else like Rodgers. If he had just copped to it, admitted he was wrong and apologized this would be over right now. Instead he is doubling and tripling down and just making this worse.

Yep. The only reason people like Sylvanfan let him off the hook for being a d-bag is because he's Aaron Rodgers and some fans and media of the league will cut him slack that regular players aren't afforded. Kirk Cousins got trashed in Minnesota for his views but he never mislead fans and media because like Rodgers who has to be the most thin skinned athlete in the history of football. No wonder some ex-players hate the guy. He didn't even apologize for purposely misleading everyone and instead doubled down and took a defensive stance. Regardless of how good a QB he is, he's just not a great person.

I'm not sure whether he's a good or bad person but lying or misleading people about your vaccine status when it's a league rule really sucks.
His decision to vaxxed or not, or whether he believes in alternatives or whether he should even bother to get it aside, there's a league protocol and violated it.
I'm surprised this isn't a bigger gambling story, presumably this has gambling impacts aside from just this weekend (mvp, over under wins, yards etc) and he deliberately mislead people. I thought the NFL required legit injury reports for that reason.

At this point I don't know if vaccine hesitant people will come out of that newly resolved to follow the path of Aaron Rogers. I think at #### time there are those who have staunchly had their minds that they'll never get a vaccine and I wouldn't call those folks vaccine hesitant. The people who I know who I would describe as vaccine hesitant are waiting on more information on the ones that are out there, and looking to see if some of the more traditional style vaccines get approval. I didn't hear him telling people don't get the vaccine or that. He did speak some of that conspiracy speak with things he questions, but I didn't here him directly call it a conspiracy, he said political. I guess I hold the view that if people are going to make that decision on well Aaron Rogers didn't get it so neither will I...some people can't be helped.
I didn't do a good job of explaining how towards the end how he started going a bit off the deep end with the Joe Rogan and Ivermectin and that. The more he talked, the less credible he became. Maybe I'm soft in that I don't condemn him to the same level as I would a few people I know who constantly claim that Covid is a hoax, the left had a timeline they were trying to implement, and that the health care system is just fine and it's a media construed controversy. If he's come out and said that stuff and he's actively been trying to steer people away from vaccines on twitter or other Social Media than yeah get his ass out of the league.
Shame on me I guess

99-yard pick 6 for the Browns!
What's funny is that if the Browns hadn't gone offside the play before, the Bengals would have kicked a FG. Browns have gone offside 3 times already, I think it's a strategy!
