I couldn't watch most of the game does anyone have clips of these available? Thanks very much, if you do.

Points in 9 of 10 games is a great start and it doesn't matter what team it is.
Right now the Flames have a point percentage of .750
Teams that had that good of a percentage or better after October:

I'm more focused on the quality of play, which has been great. But I am concerned about the fall off last night and lack of results in the last two.
But as for the record, its a long season so its not the time to pat yourself on the back and admire it. Also like I said, 6 wins in 10 feels like something we should expect out of the gate anyways. Getting point in 9 straight is great. But we need to also close some of these out on home ice. The lack of killer instinct at home is something that needs to be rectified.
Need the same level of execution we bring on the road. Guys like Gaudreau especially seem to overthink plays at home. Trying to figure that out.

6 wins is under selling the start they have 15 points...they have the equivalent to 7.5 wins
Pretty much every team is a cap team

The fall off
Their worst game of the season where they still were the better team in every metric and lost in OT because of a bad goal in the 2nd
They have just been so dominant it looked bad
Outshot Dallas
Out chanced Dallas
Better possession

I honestly would like to know where people's expectations were for the 10 game mark? I was hoping for 12 points but only expected about 10. Didn't really think the team would start playing well til the end of the road trip. Its been a pleasant surprise.
Even if we only get 10 points in the next 10 games that puts us on pace for 101-102 points on the season. I may have to revise my expectations for this team. Hard to pick out a huge weakness in the lineup. Lindholm looks like a top 10ish center, Markstrom looks easily top 10, the defence is lacking a true #1 2-way defenceman I guess. the combined additions of Kyllington and Anderson playing way better along with Gudbranson stabilizing the bottom pairing has us moving the puck up the ice rather than being hemmed in for entire shifts multiple times a period.

.500.
They have vastly exceeded my expectations so far but in terms of points, but also in their overall play.
Need to see how they deal with adversity still though. They are winless in 2 games, those streaks have to stop fast. The key to being a good team is consistency.

Well, I will never poo poo arguments in favour of positivity.
Good stuff.
I'm glad the what is .500 argument has gone out the window in favour of looking at this start in terms of points percentage.

I agree. No reason not to be excited about the start, but it's a long season. There will always be ups and downs, avoiding long losing streaks will be key to a good match-up. The sooner this mini slump ends the sooner we can start getting excited again. Screw Dallas, they always seem to suck the life out of this team.

That's the million dollar question right now. Are these two losses a sign of us facing adversity and overcoming to still claw out points, or are we still yet to see what happens when the team faces tough times and they will struggle to remain competitive when the going gets tough.
Its the same question oilers fans should be but definitely aren't (81-1 Whooo!!!) having. When the easy schedule ends for them, and teams adapt to reduce Coiler powerplays, are they actually that good, or were they feasting on an easy schedule and what appears to be bias reffing? Spoiler alert: Jerseys will get tossed as per usual.
