Andersson is fine, but I just don't see the offense you would want to see from him back there. Kylington seems good at getting pucks through due to his ability to walk the line and change the angle. Plus he's probably our best skater, so he could take some of the pressure off Gaudreau in carrying the puck up, and also get back to retrieve pucks that get out.
I think they will get there with him. Right now he is focusing on his game. Building him up and not throwing the extra responsibility at him yet. Probably see it sooner rather than later.

9 game point streak 10 games into the season, with a dominant 6 game winning streak mixed in there

Team's gotta put in a bit more time practicing their 3 on 3. Oh well. Up next, the strangers.

1-0-3 record at home. Have some work to do in that area.

A one-timer in the slot vs a wrister coming with possession from the right circle

You can't think these are the same quality of non-save

I am getting kind of sick watching Backlund in the offensive zone. Dude has zero purpose and is scared of the tough areas.

Yes he plays great positionally and great defensively but he has a lot more to give. Maybe it's a conditioning thing because he seems to turn it up mid way through the season.

Also Hanifin had a rough game. He needs to start using his speed more. That late 2nd period goal was just pure laziness.

Backlund and Lindholm were an inch from ending it...it's a bit of a coin flip don't over think it. Mangi had an open look until he was hauled down

-Markstrom was not sharp
-Benn and the Stars still have our number. Dallas is the new Honda Center curse.

Just gotta take the point and start getting prepared for the Rangers on Friday.
If your entire team play like ass(I don’t agree) and you still
Get a point, then that’s a massive positive.

Kylington needs ice time in overtime. Should be Anderson. Hanifin. Kylington.

Sutter in his presser(paraphrasing):
"If you're not on your A-game you better have a good B-game. And some guys tonight didn't have either"

That's straight and to the point. Let's hope our A and B game improves.
