Flames can barely get across the red line right now. Not a good period by any means. Need to regroup, start moving their feet, and get their forecheck going in the 2nd.

Pitlick (I think) got hit from behind. Yet they call that penalty on Mangi

Guys chirp the ref all the time, the call is almost never made at the NHL level. Suck it up. Awful officiating that period.

I doubt Tkachuk was simply complaining. Like in baseball, there are some key phrases that a smart player knows will get them booked.
