We're doing well this season. But sometimes I just can't stand this goddamn passive, head scratching knob that is our GM who constantly just twiddles his thumbs in the corner.

Will we ever make a play or will we just decay like a walking corpse and watch Tkachuk and Johnny fall off this thing like dead limbs while we do nothing.

No Eichel, no extensions (not even talk of negotiation), no core changes, no real, valiant attempt..at anything.

What. Are. You. Doing. Treliving?

You know, besides defining insanity for the umpteenth time.

Doesn’t matter what he’s done in 9 games. Buffalo apparently was very high on him. Sucks, but if they liked him more than anything Calgary has there’s nothing they could do.

After all that it doesn’t seem like a huge price. If Tkachuk was offered they’d have probably been all over it just for the flip possibility. I’d have shipped Coronato and Zary out to make it happen, no biggie. I think the Flames kinda messed one upping them at this price.

And life goes on.

Biggest lesson in this... Kevin Weekes is not a trustworthy insider.

I cant believe the difference between what was rumored and what they actually got. I cant believe Brad couldn't beat this.

Unreal move by Vegas. Its going to hurt even more when they win the cup a few times in the next 5 years.

Honestly, This is a pathetic return for Eichel. The Flames should have easily been able to beat this.

I think Vegas used Weekes (Weakes?).

I also dislike Friedman being right. That sucks.

Well another player another scenario where the Flames finish as a runner up.

Treliving loves the friendzone and simply can’t close a deal.

Not shockingly it seems like that is a price the Flames could have easily topped but instead w now get 2 of the best centers in the league in our division. Here we go on the treadmill for another few years

Tampa bay has won 2 cups with a 3rd rounder and 2nd rounder on their top line.

You guys are making it seem like a team needs Jack Eichel to win games. He sure didn't help Buffalo win and ever since his injury they've played a lot better as a team going back to last season.

Life will go on without Jack Eichel.

Mediocre life.

What kind of life is that?

If the NHL lets this trade go thru it will make them look like idiots. Complete cap circumvention. Vegas will not be able to play everyone once healthy till playoffs. This is worse then what Tampa did last year. Complete joke

Obviously not as good as the Vegas offer. Therefore fail.

Tuch has a lot of value because Vegas believed in him and signed him to a long contract.

That's the contract that Mangiapane should have had a while ago.

Guess the Popowich Tweet can be taken at face value now.

He was probably venting his frustration that Vegas was at an advantage with their LTIR situation. They didn't need to clear out the same amount of money to consummate the trade that the Flames would have.
