Honestly this just reaffirms what I was thinking earlier.
They were using The Flames as pawns to drive up the price, really don't think we had any legitimate shot at Eichel.

Also sucks that Tkachuk was leaked as part of the deal. I imagine he's not signing another contract here.

Well it’s going to be interesting how Tre comes out of all this. Gaudreau, Tkachuk, Mangiapane all need contracts. Tre always coming up second when it comes to these blockbusters
