Depends on if it was when he was healthy , and if he had ever won before this. Right now I think he he could see some nice parts to the roster with a winning coach. A team that brought in Stanley cup winning players that are not scared to work. A goaltender that is probably as competitive as him.

That said I wouldn't blame him wanting a team like Vegas that has spent to the cap and isn't scared to make the hard decisions.

I like the idea that Friedman is full of ####. I'm gonna just settle on that assumption. The fact that he doesn't have any specifics to offer himself seems more telling than x team has been "further down that track"

Both Freidman and Serivali have been really sticking to Vegas as the team that is by far the closest and most likely to get it done.

I am not sure if Mark Stone or Alex Pietrangelo have had to answer questions in the media about trade rumors like Johnny and Noah did today. It sucks to see Tkachuk’s name in the rumor mill again.

I hope I am wrong but the SN/TSN guys have been on Vegas for a while and don’t seem to buy the Calgary hype. I think that Weekes story was a leak from Buffalo and not factual.

I've counted them out at least a dozen times already, maybe today alone. And here we are.. still allegedly in the one yard club. So forgive me if I don't believe Friedman's poo-pooing chatter before bed. What could've possibly developed at 1145 pm EST? The guy is just being a broken record, mainly echoing seravelli cause that's who he trusts. And Seravelli is the guy with Vegas connections. But no Flames connections. And that's the key right there. He's only hearing Vegas' side of it.

I've already resigned myself to the fact that we probably won't end up getting him, simply because we cheer for the Calgary Flames and are never allowed to have nice things. And that Vegas is a spoiled franchise that gets to have it all. Flames have a better offer? Doesn't matter...because Vegas.

If by some godly miracle he does end up a Flame, it'll feel even sweeter because I have zero expectations at this point.
