Yep and for some reason the game starts a half hour earlier than normal, plus Forsberg out. Does any team catch more breaks than that bunch of pretenders??

The reason for the earlier start is for the national Wednesday Night hockey. This is the only game that has a Canadian team involved so Sportsnet wanted to accommodate viewers in the eastern and Atlantic timezones.

Patrick Kane has two points and Fleury is making good saves, 25 so far, 3-2 Blackhawks late in the second period.

Looks like they finally play a decent team on Friday when they face the Rangers.

Who expected Chicago to be leading Carolina 3-2 after the 2nd?

Jasper Fast has tied it up for the Hurricanes just 17 seconds into the third period.

The Avalanche lead 2-1 in the second period.

Gee what a surprise. For the second game in a row, after getting a team that played the night before while the Oilers were sitting on their arrogant fat asses, and the tired team runs out of gas in the third period. Calgary played a better game last night than the aoilers have tonight.

Goddammit. Losing that extra point last night hurts even more after watching a tired Preds team phone it in against the Oilers with their 3rd stringer in net. F*** I hate the Oilers so much. I just want to see them face an above-average team for once and get rightfully trounced.

Easy games do mean you have stiffer competition down the line

they will still have the rest advantage though

Draisaitl “ high compete level” according to the panel.

They can’t be watching the same games as I am.

The Oilers will slide, a terrible 5v5 team riding a hot powerplay and playing the softest schedule in the league.

No adversity right now but when they hit it, they'll see again that McDavid is not a leader you can count on.

He was everywhere tonight. Backchecking, creating plays, scoring. Leads the league with +11. Some nights he looks "lazy" for sure. Seemed to move his legs more tonight.

They'll hit the skids hard when they get lined up with some teams that can play and aren't starting their 2nd or 3rd goalie.

Even the Flyers rested had enough 5 on 5 mojo to beat these freaks.

So funny, they get the Canucks before they found their game, just like Ottawa last year.

The fortune is borderline comedic.

But the end result as predictable as the sun rising in the east and setting in the west.
