Yeah, I prefer GMs who are never in on anything.
Treliving has done as many big deals as most GMs in the league, both trades and UFAs.

It’s probably more like “If you take Tkachuk you get these prospects, if you take Monahan you get these”. Or maybe it’s Monahan and Valimaki versus just Tkachuk.

Friedman has a massive audience, which is the most important thing when you want to get something out.
Most of his ‘insider info’ is from teams/players/coaches/GMs who want to get something out there unofficially, for whatever reason.
