A lot of Twitter insiders mobilizing now looking for some cheap and easy follows and try and pick up slivers of credibility in case it happens.
Of course Weekes is used, that's 75% of their job as an analyst, and they know it, same with the Kaplan lady. Mostly agents or assistant to agents, pushing thier clients to those who have a following.
Why the rush now?
Maybe Eichels surgery is set now and can't be changed. Maybe a player on one side wants to be settled back in the US for Thanksgiving. Any number of things and the NHL people whose faces are on ESPN get the most casual exposure for pushing the envelope by one or more parties.
The local scribes asking players and coaches is unprofessional and desperate, again, looking to be the one to get the cred for cracking the case wide open for personal professional gain.

I can get behind Tkachuk as part of this because of what his next imminent contract will demand. Isn’t the qualifying offer have to be $9m, or do I have that wrong? Either way, he has plateaued below that value, it seems.
