Offer is pretty much what I expected and I'm good with paying that price.
Pretty disappointed that this got leaked though, bush league crap, better have been from the Sabres end. This is the kind of crap that soured Brodie on the team.

I guess I read Weekes tweet a little differently. I get the impression that is what has been on the table in parts or different combinations of but not the entire list. This would have been done yesterday if all that was on the table for Eichel.

Makes me think the Weekes leak is in the Flames camp, since he's been the one that resuscitated the Flames being in this race. The future captain commentary too. Doesn't it (Tkachuk inclusion) also echo what a poster said earlier this week about hearing this from a Flames exec on a flight?

Tkachuk can always be flipped. There will be a list of teams willing to trade for him as a rental, I’m sure. They can probably get a decent few assets at that point too.

I think it's probably double ended too.
Bettman would want the trade to get the Blackhawks assault issue out of the news cycle.
And also the last thing the NHL wants is a grievance about a team jeopardizing a players health hitting the news cycle right after this issue.
