My heart skipped when I refreshed the other thread and it was closed. Sigh.

If Vegas does make the trade, I would think a side deal would also occur

Stone is shown on "IR", not sure if he will be placed on LTIR.

Not a fan at all of getting rid of Mangi. The guy is just starting to come into his own as an offensive dynamo, and I feel like he's gonna be a beast of a player for us for a long time.

Me neither, but the reality is if the Flames land Eichel they will give up some pieces that hurt. Most of us will consider it an overpay and only time will tell.

He is. But I think if this is the cost of acquiring Jack Eichel it needs to be carefully considered.

Wonder if they’re that close that the potential players involved would be scratched tonight?

Eichel has no say correct? I wonder if Adams sends him to Calgary instead of Vegas as a last FU to him.

TBF, Calgary wasn’t just “in on” Kadri. And Stone would have been a huge mistake. Not that unhappy “missing” on the others either.

Can someone post the rumored/potential deal so I don't have to go sift through the closed thread? Or is there no real consensus a the deal?

Yes Buffalo, send him to Calgary to "get back at" Jack.

You don't wanna send him to Vegas and reunite him with his pal Lehner (who also talked badly about your medical staff), he'll be all smiles.

Nor missing out on Zucker. That gets a big "meh" from me.

If all those "losses" helped pave the way to this then they were worth it.

Could also involve salary retainment by both Buffalo and one other party.

If this does happen, I just hope it ends up being the right choice.
