Flyers are a huge team as well.
I read something at seasons start that they had 18 guys over 6' and 190 lbs or more. They really like to crowd the crease and bang away, something Sutter teams dont allow.
Could be a bit of a throwback game tonight.

Zadorov/Tanev didn't work because of the matchups. It was basically Tanev by himself. Too much heavy lifting with a very limited pairing.
With favorable zone starts and matchups, hopefully Zadorov/Gundbradson works a little better.

Don't take the Flyers lightly. I'm happy they did us a favour by beating both the Canucks and the Oilers. If Hart is in net or whoever is get lots of shots. That will be the key.

It's funny that a Defense pair consisting of veterans drafted #3 OA and #16OA respectively looks like it has the first pass ability of a pair of undrafted filler refridgerators.
Hopefully Zadorov proves me wrong though, and can make some clean exit passes.

Frankly, I just want him to throw his size and weight around a little bit and string together some clean shifts.

That all doesn't matter if he is coughing up the puck to the other team every shift. His play with the puck in the first two games was horrific for a guy who boasted about facing other teams' top lines last year, I don't care if he's Lidstrom meets Scott Stevens without the puck.

I dont know, Gudbranson has been the exact opposite of a liability so far as a Flame.
He's been really .... really good at zone exit passing. And digging pucks out behind the net and starting transition.
I'm not so concerned so much with puck movement and more concerned about Zadorov being rusty and taking penalties.
