Not really.
If I'm not mistaken, the NCAA (including the ECAC) has one of the better NHLe conversion rates among leagues where prospects play.
Better than the OHL, WHL, QMJHL, but worse than the AHL.
But I've seen another source that has the ECAC worse than the OHL and WHL, but better than the QMJHL.
And by difficult, it's much closer to the AHL than it is to the CHL leagues. Since some players are in their low to mid 20s, the players are larger, faster, tougher, etc.

He was over a goal/game in the USHL playoffs, after putting up 48 in 51 games in the regular season.
Scoring at that rate, you have to have a high compete level. Really impressive.
Thought he would translate pretty well to the NCAA, but this is a better start than I anticipated, for sure. But in a blowout game, worth pumping the breaks a little.

15th ranked Harvard vs unranked Dartmouth. Neither college has played in nearly 2 years, so lots of rust on the returning players.
Coronato was by far the best player out there
Regardless of the quality of the opposition, he showed speed, skill, playmaking, non stop motor. Was used in all situations, and created chances nearly every time he was on the ice

Already on pace for 176 points in his freshman year. By comparison, Johnny was only a PPG then with 44. Safe to say already, Coronato is way better.

super excited for this kid. Will take time to get used to tracking the progress of a skilled right-handed forward prospect though, that's pretty much uncharted territory as a Flames fan lol. Hope he continues to light it up.
