Lewis is just a decent guy and Pitlick doesn't get a lot of appreciation but he's quietly solid.

Coleman has really been impressing though, his feet don't stop. I feel like that's the difference between looking good and not is if you're skating. That's a little bit of what's hurting Monahan right now, he's not skating enough. Gliding too much.

Good to see a lot of positive posts last few games. Sometimes after a game, it is good to just enjoy the win. Flames stuck together and played a tough team. Gudbranson may not have had his best game but he used his size and was a difference maker. Monahan might still be recovering a bit, made some good defensive plays and was engaged. Everyone contributed to the win.

And that is why it was the right choice to let Gio go with one year left on his contract rather than giving up an additional asset for them to select Kylington instead.

And to think that some were saying we should waive Kylington rather than sending Mickie down, when the latter didn’t need waivers.

I think we are on the same page, a nice balance between size and skill. The opposition will think twice about making the game a battle of attrition. I guess the true test will be when we play divisional opponents. I suspect the “one who is pee” will continue to stare at his skates.

and we had people on here who wanted to make a side deal with Seattle for them not to take Giordano....

Even Valimaki has settled down

Every point Lucic gets makes me happy. 46 happy moments after tonight. Many more to come I am sure.

How much did that goal cost Edmonton?

Remember Sutter can’t coach “today’s players”….

In the old days, when the Flames returned from a great road trip they were greeted with a standing ovation.

To be fair if Sutter wasn't coaching Kylington might still be on the outside looking for an opportunity.

I'm still very critical of Treliving but I don't think the time to do it is after going 5-0 on a road trip. Debates about roster construction and cap space usage can wait for another day.

Yeah, I’ll just let people read your posts about Giordano. For the record, I advocated he be exposed.

Does Coleman-Backlund-Pitlick remind anybody of Moss-Conroy-Glencross?
