Can’t say I’m shocked. I’d imaging Cheveldayoff will be gone tomorrow.

What? Why? How does Torts keep finding jobs?

Quenville obviously needs to go, but surely there are other options. Don't Torts and Bobo hate each other?

LOL. Tortorella handling Bobrovsky should be interesting. Do we see a correlation with some drop off with Bennett with another hardass on the horizon? So many questions if he's the right coach for Florida right now.

Fla needed a high profile guy. No one is higher profile.

Of course their second choice was Peters (jk).

Good for Torts.

…Darryl Sutter Vs. John Tortorella in the Stanley Cup final seems like destiny.

Torts is a great coach but has a shelf life. I actually think it’s a great replacement for a winning team.

Agreed. They need to put Quenneville behind them in a hurry. Torts has the personality to take over the room the minute he walks in.

Still hard to believe they let him coach yesterday. Good riddance.

I loved how Tortorella called out that entire 2010 team/management.
"I just don't get why one guy couldn't stand up and say, 'No, this is wrong'"

As for being the right hire, who knows... but I hope it works out for the Panthers.

I'm not surprised. You have to let the guy have his hearing before you fire him.

A person with any sense of shame or guilt would have removed themselves.
