Leafs are really bad. That's what happens when 3 players make 35 million.

I remember hoping the Flames would hire Quenville when they were going through their revolving door of terrible coaches. In retrospect, not hiring him was a great decision.

Kind of makes me wonder whether some of this was more widely known. And did Florida know about this and just look the other way?

The Panthers look horrible letting Quenneville coach tonight after the report yesterday and an interview with Bettman tomorrow. Never mind the bombs Beach dropped tonight. Smart move would have been to sit him out until things were figured out.

But I guess when you're 6-0 there are more important things in life.

Go Bruins.

I think the Panthers’ time as the CP alternate fave may have run its course.

Very nice backhand snipe by Tavares, Leafs cut it to 2-1

The Red Wings have come back to tie the game at 2-2. Fabric scores the tying goal early in the third period.

Did everyone know that Seth Jones is no good? Am I the only one surprised at how bad he's been after signing his mega deal?

It is 1-1 in the Knights-Stars game, both teams scored early into the game.

Gotta admit, Joe Thornton is still effective in a sheltered 4C role. Still a monster with the puck on the boards and has a ton of vision. I wish Monahan could replicate that.

He was pretty useless for the Leafs. He has one point this year, which was a tap into a wide open net on the power play. And he’s been a healthy scratch at least once.

He's not vintage Jumbo Joe, but he still has the ability to take over a shift in the offensive zone. For the Panthers, he had a dominant individual shift today where the Panthers completed an O-zone line change, and that ultimately led to a Duclair goal, though it was a few touches removed from Thornton's last touch. But the situation was similar to that shift our Ritchie-Gawdin-Lewis line gave us that led to a Lindholm goal, except this one was basically all one guy.

I hope the Leafs manage to lose just to see the meltdown go into full force.

He’s not only not vintage Joe, he’s not as good as Monahan.
