Yep. #### the officials. Tear that mask off and throw it on the ice.

Vladar had a couple rough moments, and particularly the egregious gaffe with the puck handling, but the bottom line is that he has learned those lessons with no damage done.
He's 2-0-0 to start the season, and that is what matters.
Also, for the most part, he has played pretty well.

Their passing has gotten better with each game. Not great to start the season, but they are looking great now!

Only 24 years old so he should get better as he gets more experience.

Agree for sure the breakouts and passing the past couple of games have been really good.

Lindy, Ovi and Magi the leading goal scorers in the league. You love to see it

The quality of competition matters. We just beat two young teams who recently resided at the top of draft lottery boards. The Washington team is looking vulnerable but I think they rebound. Then that win validated the effort even if they almost lost that one. Jersey is going right back to the top of the draft. Rangers are in a different situation. Gallant being a new hire this year is going to be in tough to get them to buy in quickly enough to remain competitive.
However, I do like the coaching. How can we not? Sutter was the best coach we ever had even though crisper won the big one. That team was way more stacked than Darryls team. .
He had our rag tag grinder group with an elite pwf, an elite shutdown defender and a generational goalie. We were a francoise beauchemin ko over iggy from going deeper into those playoffs with a hungrier group in 2006. That lock out really screwed the flames the worst. No salary cap, high oil prices, and that squad. We could’ve been a powerhouse… Alas back to it… Sutter is a great coach. When he went upstairs is where it started going wrong.
Yet by a shrewd move, the ownership group hired sutter again. The effect is real. The chemistry is building. If they can beat some of these alleged superior squads then we might have something.
In the end, I’m actually grateful for this start. I was super excited watching a game last night with my friend. This has been entertaining so far.
I’m still worried about our offence behind the top line yet I stick to my under two hundred but some bad hockey is going to have to precede that reality. It would have to take some real catastrophe from what the flames are looking like right meow.
Still like this crow taste. Happy to eat a slice of humble pie served with tonight’s affair!

Both teams were 4-1 and are on the upswing
This Rangers team wasn't anywhere near the top of the lottery board last year...they had more points than Montreal they were just in a good div
And its hilarious that you are saying this after pumping the Oilers tires for 2 weeks...go look at who they have played, with backup goalies, rest, ect.
Flames 9 points is far more impressive than the Oilers 10 where they got outplayed almost every game

If that's McDavid instead of Lucic, Subban would've gotten a 5 and a game on the spot. Then he'll get a hearing from Player Safety whatever.

It’s really something to watch how good Sutter is. He makes Gulatzan look like an absolute amateur.

I gotta say, I was skeptical that this team could win consistently, but this road trip has proven me wrong.
Darryl is in the player's ear for sure. They look totally different from previous years.
I don't know where they end up in the standings, but I think this is a legitimate playoff team as it stands right now, especially in a weak division. Where it goes from there? Who knows, but that's why we watch.

So happy to see lucic score. It just reinforces how great of a trade that was for us. Neal was a plug. I thought we were getting a pwf but lucic is one of the best even with his mileage.
