Here's some Bennett Stat updates:
Entire career with Florida Regular season:
16 GP, 10G - 12A = 22pts +18 1.38 PPG
Entire career with Florida incuding playoffs:
21 GP, 11G - 16A = 27pts +19 1.29 PPG
Last 22 regular season games including 6 games with Flames since Sutter started turning him around:
22 GP: 11G, 17A = 28 pts +19 1.27 PPG
Last 27 games including playoffs:
27 GP: 12G, 21A = 33 pts +19 1.22 PPG
We're now at a quarter of a season statistics for this "unsustainable" pace

Interesting. It's almost like something really weird happened sometime within the last year that has lead to a much improved stat line over his last 16 games. I can't quite put my finger on what it is, but it's almost like he's a completely different player... or no, that's not quite it... it's more like he's on a completely different team or something... I wish I could figure out what it is...

Flames may have wasted their highest pick ever with a string of utterly useless head coach hires.
Easily Trelivings biggest weakness as a GM IMO

100% agreed.
...but he's now addressed the problem, and he was a Rookie GM when we hired him. Perhaps these are just the painful lessons an organization has to endure when hiring a rookie GM? Perhaps Treliving is now better off, and in return the team is now better off that he's learned that lesson?
I guess what I'm really saying is...acquire Jack Eichel and I forgive you, Brad Treliving.

Some things are more important...Sam can score 300 points. JQ needs to be fired, not sure how anyone can cheer for his success now.

If he is the head coach how can anyone wish that team success? Hopefully they do the right thing but it is Florida.

This can't be right - there were people here that told us he gets worse if he plays more than 14 minutes, that he can't handle it.
