Gotta love how Sutter shortens the bench in the other direction. Flames playing well and winning, let's give the top line 4th line minutes.

I'm afraid of what the next Mangiapane contract is going to look like.

I have to say I never thought the team would score this much. It's been really exciting and I wonder if Sutter has added a little something to his systems.

Mangiapane: 7 goals, no assists
Gaudreau: 8 assists, no goals

What's going to happen first? Johnny's first goal or Mang's first assist?

Mangiapane will be elevated to the first unit and assist on a Gaudreau goal.

Just got home........was listening to the Devils broadcast on the radio. When they saw the call, Chico said ' oh no............that was a weak call.' So you know it must have been pretty brutal.

That might be a bargain at this rate. Hope he can keep it up.

You mean Gaudreau will be elevated to the Mangiapane line.

NHL is a joke whenever a team has a big lead. Refs calling buttery soft penalties against the Flames.

Lol have to love that call on Backlund.

####ing nhl refs are the worst.

"Flames are steam rolling these guys! Quick better make a game management bull#### made up out of thin air penalty against them"

Make them earn it. If they get caved in, they get caved in.

Devils can't handle the Flames heat. What a nice 1st period. Poor Daws got roasted.

2 slick AF goals by Mangiapane .

I'm sure a lot of you do this already, but watch Mangiapane when he doesn't have the puck. This guy might be one of the best puckhounds in the league.

Confidence is massive as well. Darryl deserves some credit for getting the guys playing well and thriving on that confidence. They do have a few guys that can score, if they feel good about themselves they can put a few in the net. When they don't, it's ugly. Let's hope we see a confident group more often than not this season.

NJ crew says best period from an opponent they've seen this season. As blown away as we are.

Ryan Leslie: Is there a danger with a 4 goal lead?

Mangiapane (in my mind): Yeah we really shouldn’t score so much.

Phenominal 1st period. Let's see if this team has another one of their usual 2nd periods, or keeps their foot on the pedal this time.
