At this pace, we may soon be talking about how the best 2 forwards in the league play in northern southern Alberta.

Coleman makes such smart plays in transition. Never risky, always forward.

I just love how this start (which has been infinitely more impressive than Edmonton's given circumstance and opponents) will absolutely steal some of their thunder in the headlines if they finish the trip strong.

Flames are dominating and winning. Oilers are just living off their PP as usual while bottom third at even strength, like last year.

Interesting to see if they can come out focused and kill this penalty

Nope. Couple more wins and he will be picking these guys apart.

But when was that? Why would Mangi sign long-term early if he believed in his abilities?

Won’t make a difference to Ron MacLean

Refs doing their best to get the Devils some life, but I don't even care.

Well that was the most enjoyable period of hockey the Flames have put forth in many seasons

I bet Sutter won't be impressed with not getting that puck deep

Also, Flames had more than 8 shots...it boggles my mind that the NHL doesn't have an accurate shot count

Maybe the Flames can call a team meeting and tell him to settle down. He's really out of control at the moment and we need to reign him in.

Don’t you know - players are forced to sign long term if the team wants it.

Seriously, there was no room anyway. And he will be an RFA still, though that’s not the benefit it used to be.
