I'm unsure how acquiring Eichel during the season helps our team when he likely doesn't play til the very end of the season. Despite my misgivings about this teams abilities with the depth of the roster, were still 3-1-1. Giving up a couple of current roster players to acquire Eichel would pretty much ensure we aren't a playoff team this year.

Emailing the Flames' management a few years ago ended with me getting a phone call from Brad Treliving himself, so our voices could reeeeeeeally be heard by bombarding them with emails.

Vegas will steal Eichel just like they stole Stone.
Not sure if Treliving has a Krebs he is not willing to part with but it could be time to put the chips in the middle.

This is the guy who traded a first and two seconds for Hamonic. Clearly he's willing to vastly overpay for something.
But let's not forget that this is also the guy who was too stubborn to trade Valimaki and a first for an elite winger the year we finished tops in the West. Do we get a deeper playoff run with Mark Stone as the top line RW? Can't see how we at least aren't more competitive.
Literally months of the Flames being in on discussions, but not seeing anything tangible, only to lose Eichel to the same division rival is unacceptable. Truly unacceptable.
I'm done with him as GM. Brad Treliving needs to go.
