Are the boys allowed to go out together this year? I hope they get a good night out tomorrow night!

How refreshing to know that if the Flames have a lacklustre few minutes, Sutter will nip that in the bud and they come out and just get back to business. Great win.

Most importantly, Johnny picks up an apple in the big apple.

Scoring by committee tonight. Hopefully that calms some people.

If this was GG team we would be putting the round peg in the square hole even if we had lost the last five games.

Tkachuk with the 3rd lowest ice time next to Lucic and Ritchie, probably needs more ice time to be effective, he looked better in the 3rd period. Coleman was the only person above 17mins tonight, he's been solid.
Based on the minutes distribution, looks like Sutter has full confidence in rolling all 4 lines. Not sure how much of that was related to going up by 3goals halfway through the 3rd but the ice time was very well managed today. With essentially no travel to NJ, the guys should be relatively fresh for tomorrow.

For anyone dismissing this as hyperbole, GG played Matt Bartkowski over Brett Kulak every single game of the 2017 playoffs.

Matt Bartkowski was -5 in only 72 shifts of play, and while I realize +/- isn't really a stat with much if any value, there's no doubting that the Bart-Engelland pairing had absolutely zero ability to make an NHL-calibre breakout pass.

Sutter's not going to play him unless he has to.

Also have to say, Vegas and Seattle at the bottom of the standings just feels right.

The guy wins almost every battle he’s involved in. He’s got a Mangiapane motor, and is really effective and smart in battles with his stick.

This is so far from the Brouwer, Neal types of off season signings. He’s worth every penny.

Almost. Seeing the Oilers at the bottom would be better.

you know the teams rolling when we're 130 posts into the PGT and nobodys crapped on Monahan yet.

This is a Sutter team, mentally prepared. Games have ebbs and flows but Darryl won't let them fold.

Monahan needs to bounce back ASAP

I'm still not sure what I'm looking at. Some dominant O players. some not at all, but mistakes in between by some D, but they win.

Fun to watch regardless.

Obviously Backlund and Coleman looking great together, but Pitlick is a solid player too.

Aw, really? I didn't what happened in that thread. Come on Zam, this is the internet! Your content may be shared by others, but it's still your creation that's being appreciated by others. Don't stop making them if you truly enjoy creating them.

Anyway, I think through all the games this year so far that you can say that coaching is definitely making an impact since every game the team has been relatively competitive in. They don't play completely unprepared every second game or so like with previous coaches. If this is how they're gonna play most nights through the season, then this team should definitely be playing in the playoffs at least.

And Mangiapane? Give that man his money.

I really like Coleman, man he's a solid, smart player. Team looked good tonight, love seeing Kylington continue to play with confidence. Keep 'er going tomorrow.

He has 11 goals in his last 10 NHL games, along with 7 goals in 7 games at the World Championships where he won gold and won tournament MVP.

We need to get him locked up long term, ASAP

The Brouwer play is another one, it didn't matter how long the team didn't score on the pp, they just kept going with the same guy. Why would a coach do that when you need wins! Sutter doesn't waste time he knows we have to try and win every game.
