I recall an interview where Darryl was quoted saying that he doesn't like to pull goalies. Can't recall the exact reason, something about the goalie and team battling together. This would be a huge confidence builder for both sides and for embracing that underdog role!

The team bent again but did not break showing some great resolve after blowing a 3-0 lead. Lots of reasons the team could have wilted but they stuck to it and were able to get it done in the OT. Amazing pass by Darth and truly a smart 3rd assist to Tkachuk for trusting his goalie and sending it back for the reset.
Also can we please extend Gaudreau?? I can’t imagine this team without him and he has some amazing chemistry going with Lindy!

Best team we have played and came out with 2 points. Big win, team could have some momentum now. Its amazing that both goalies seem to have faced adversity and risen through it already.
