Well, it's a bit of both. The Caps still undeniably made a huge push in the second period, and Vladar had nothing to do with that. Outside of the top line, the Flames were completely incapable of generating anything ... because they don't have enough offence-minded forwards.

Need to figure out some combinations that will provide at least one secondary threat consistently. Guys missing time in camp robbed us of the opportunity to figure out those second/third lines.

Well, it should be Mangiapane and Dube. But they’ve been very quiet. I’d throw Coleman with them.

Calgary struggles with their transition game. Not dangerous off the rush at all. Soft chips are out of sync because their are no layers, forwards aren't in an area to retrieve effectively.
