I'm glad Ovechkin's shot was at Vladar's chest.

When you are at 0% Corsi for and have no shot attempts I think it’s more than Ritchies fault.

Johnny has been one of like three guys driving offence for the Flames in this game... he's one of the last guys I blame, even with one mistake.
Flames need more guys who can score. Way too many of their forwards are almost totally incapable of putting the puck in the net. Pitlick, Dube, Lucic, Lewis, Ritchie, Monahan have all been very bad offensively for the Flames today.

It’s been a quiet night for that line. And they should be a high energy line, even with Ritchie. I maintain Ritchie can play top 6 once in a while and be effective but he can’t sustain it.

Cassie stop blaming Ritchie for Ras's turnover...he had plenty of time to put it off the boards and not up the middle

Wow what happened? I had to go out and I come back and it’s 3-3. Classic Flames collapse?

That’s a bigger picture problem. You were specifically talking about people causing the momentum shift in Washington’s favour. That was on Johnny.

Both are true
Right now Lucic, Lewis and Ritchie are making their lines less dangerous
But Johnny still made the pivotal poor play of the game so far

Johnny has created chances. He’s also had way more than one mistake. He’s had pretty bad puck management on several plays.

So did the guy who put JG under that pressure with a suboptimal bump back.

I would argue Vladar's poor performance has been far more pivotal. With Markstrom in net, the Flames are probably still up 3-1.
