It wasn't Tanev's man. But when things broke down, and he was that open, and Tanev had no one to cover, he needed to to pressure the shooter. Instead, he backed up, and gave him the time and space to get a shot away that could beat Vladar.

I don’t think the Flames should take Valimaki out for Zadarov. Keep playing Valimaki. Development time for Valimaki is better for the short term and long term of the team. Zadarov is bad and only here one season.

This Caps broadcast crew are great. They call a pretty even game for the most part, and actually give props to the Flames occasionally.
