It's a pit that a bus can drive over, but a car will fall into.
There are only a few places like that in calgary though.

You'll see bus traps in a place to give a bus access to a community, but to keep regular cars out. It's basically a hole in the road; just barley wide enough for a bus to get through with it's wider wheel base.

In Queensland/ Lake Bonivista I think they replaced the traps with gates.

Yeah, the good ol' driving into a house. I remember that, and the guy certainly looks similar.

I can't be the only person that saw that and immediately said "that's southland and bonaventure".

I SHOULD know that since I work by Southland and McLeod...but I usually take the train, so that takes care of that.

Average initial post, and ONE sincerely AWESOME reply.

The rest of the thread was garbage, not worth reading and definitely NSFW.

Edit. Makes me appreciate the moderation here on CP. What a terrible forum over there (language, sigs, links....)

That is pure gold baby! Awesome when idiots get what they deserve. And gotta agree with Shawnski about the language and everything over there. Wow. We all sound like we have a Ph.D. compared to that forum.

That would explain why the site is now down, hah.

Here is a mirror for those of us too late to beat the Digg effect:

Unfortunately all the pictures are gone though...

The site is back up. Sorry about not warning about language and all. That forum is rather no holds barred (but anybody should know NOT to click on a link marked <removed>. Turns out the guy's mother made him confess anyhow...if he were the kind of guy to just STAY there....he wouldn't get horribly embarrased online.

MOD EDIT: Removed link

I imagine the 't' at the end was used to swap out the 'ed' in order to make it only 4 letters long instead of 5.
You look a little to deep into it, it started out as pwned just as a variation of owned because to some it sounds better. Similar to how l33t turned into r33t. People just like to switch things up. R33t is an even more l33t version of l33t.

The latest craze is Owned in the face, or owns face, which will eventually turn into pwned in the face, etc.. till something new comes along.

Btw, that guy who did the hit run, he just got owned in the face.
