Default Columbus is probably finished.

Well a loss today, and for all intensive purposes Scott Niedermayer is done for the year.

As a result all players are now available. Please submit initial offers via email. I will not make any trades for at least 48 hours, so no MSN please as I have real life work I need to get done.

Every single player is available for the right price. Although the injured Niedermayer is going to demand a kings ransom.

I tried to get this team going, but I just never found the chemisty. Like they'd say in drag racing, I had better machinery, but drove like an ass clown.

I have offers on a couple of guys. If you'd like to add a good veteran scorer like Pierre Turgeon, you best get a hold of me soon.

The Columbus fire sale..

Who's still left?

Radek Bonk 75 OV with 70 DF. His salary is a bit pricey at 5.2, but we can send some money here. In 72 games he's been very productive with 23 goals and 56 points, and he's been on teams who need to play him on their top two lines and he's still a +4 going against higher rated players on a gamely basis. This is a guy who might be able to slot into a second line for a team looking to slay a dragon.

Dean McAmmond 72 OV forward making 2 million per year. Good experienced player and come playoff time, depth is always good to have. If you have a McAmmond that you can play on your third line when injuries play havoc with your lineup, you stand a better chance of surviving.

Bryce Salvador 72 OV with a 73 DF makes 2.2 million. Again a guy you can play on your third pairing and who can do some PK. Still a usefull NHL guy and his salary actually matches his NHL salary.

Dick Tarnstrom....I'll trade this guy for a 6th round pick.

Jason Wooley, veteran guy who's 72 OV with 88 and 80 ratings for EX and LD. Costs 1.25 per year and could be a valuable 7th defenceman for someone. He'll come very very cheap.

Ronald Petroivicky, another pending UFA who's a depth guy. Offer me like a 4th for him and a 5th, and you probably get the deal done, I don't see how some teams would lose with a deal like that.

Update:

Berard is now of the market. So is Matt Bradley not that he was being actively shopped, but he's out too.

Come on you chickens, these are salvage like prices to pay to improve your teams going into the playoffs. All 16 playoff teams ARE set, so no excuses not to try an improve your team.

Updated to suit the current roster. Radek Bonk, yeah, he's been a bit off in the NHL, but he's been a good CPHL Sim producer. There are teams who could use an extra forward like him for the playoffs, and I'll pay his salary for you. In fact I'll offer up a package of Bonk, McAmmond, Salvador and the Detroit 1st with the money for a good prospect. Essentially you'd improve your team big time and still get a top 13 pick.

By good prospect, I'm not talking about a 25 year old NHL guy with 6 goals, and two long shot prospects.

That first is valuable to me, and I'm not giving it away for a pile of junk. I have more than enough junk in my organization.

Edit....I'll also hold a player if I don't think I'm getting a decent offer. So don't think I'll trade a good player at the last minute for a 5th round pick if I'm not getting anything decent. I've made trades here, in the last couple days, and it would be a grave disrespect to those teams who I feel paid a fair price for the roles of the players they acquired if I pulled a stunt like that. My players are going for bargains, but they're not being given away. End of Rant.
