And if you watch it again, it looks like he does actually touch the puck

You actually don't have to really touch the puck, I have seen assists given on that before when they just knock the other players stick.

Heck Sam Gagner got one when he turned over the puck and then that guy turned it over back to the Oilers(eIGht pOInTs)

Feels like Detroit had 5 HDC in first 10 minutes alone.

Maybe they just gave him the assist as a bit of charity.

I liked Gudbranson and kyllington for different reasons.

But Dube does seem like a guy who would wear business socks and sandals.

I’m so happy the ATL has returned. It makes this place special.

Its naturalstatrick not my stats

They did allow more shots and possession this game but that is normal when you lead the game for 50 Mins or whatever it was

Flames look structured tonight. Dube and Kylington were really good. Gudbranson looked like Nik Lidbrandson.

They did not look structured. At all. It was a mess.

15 mins of the 1st and the 3rd were pretty good...it is the NHL the other team is going to get chances.

5 high danger is pretty low

I disagree. Did they even give up an odd man rush?

This is how the D pairings should remain, barring injuries or any substantial faltering from players. But this is where it gets dicey, as we know they aren’t going to want to keep sitting Zadorov with his cap hit

There was a flames breakout in the 3rd period that had 3 passes in probably 2 seconds, they also had puck possession for over 20 seconds in the O zone at least 3 times by my count. There is far more structure in 3 games of Sutter than we've seen in years.

If you want to talk about a mess, how about a coach sexually assaulting a player and his teammates mocking him?

Well that makes me happy. I have Gaudreau in my pool and needed that assist.

This is kinda the point of competition...keep it up or you might be sitting next game. When you get back in there make it count.

Didn't get a chance to watch this one, but the result looks good. Were they as dominant as the scoreboard made it seem?

I know, but the problem is I don’t think Zadorov ha looked as good as any of these 6 d men at any point. So hopefully they continue to sit him until someone really leaves no choice but to be swapped out. And in that case, I honestly would like to see Stone get a game over Zadorov
