Whiffed on a couple onetimers but overall, fine. The best part about him is his ability to recover from broken plays at the blueline. Not only broken plays created by him but from others as well.
Just needs to settle in.

I think he looks good so far. He had one nice toe drag coming from the blue-line. He is much better than Zadorov at exiting the zone, and he had a good active stick on a couple of plays.
Other posters have mentioned he needs to be a bit stronger on his feet, and that he whiffed on a couple of shots... maybe I am biased but I haven't really noticed it that much.

Yeah. Maybe the better play on the one instance with the bouncing puck, he should just try to get in front of that and keep it inside the blue line rather than the attempt at a shot

Very choppy game, without a lot of flow, so nobody looks like Lemieux out there, but Kylington has looked as good as anyone on D not named Gudbranson. He’s separated a few guys from the puck nicely, but has had trouble corrallling the loose pucks.
