I heard they felt in in Edmonton. I live in south Calgary and didn't hear/feel nothing.
I've felt earthquakes when I lived in the US. Kinda scary.

I live in Edmonton, I felt nothing, although I wasn't paying attention. I've been in an earthquake in Asia before, and its a really weird sensation. Had to brace in a doorframe, and you feel absolutely helpless.

I didn't hear anything last night (south Calgary) but yeah I felt quite a few when I was in Japan and they are weird. It's like everything is moving for no reason and you can't stop it

You could have left it at that Ozy, and everyone would have understood. The malaise of living in such a dreary hell hole of an existence (Edmonton) is certain to dull your feelings and make you obvious to anything but the most intense stimuli - like a nuclear explosion. How could you possibly feel a minor earth tremor when you have the sheer weight of living in Edmonton on your shoulders?

Fraccing? Or perhaps this is close enough to the disturbed zone that was a natural quake.

No, not fracking. 10km is way to deep for that.

Didn't notice that, and that does rule out fraccing.

Good to know, fracking came to mind also as oil prices going up I assume production started ramping up but did not know about the depth.

Got a rig working real close to the epicenter that didn't feel it. Earthquakes are weird.

I've felt a couple before. One in the Vancouver area around 2001 that actually did some minor damage and the other one in Prince Rupert around 2008. It's a pretty menacing feeling.
The Vancouver one was weird because I was one the computer at home and the power went out probably 5-10 seconds before I could feel it. It almost felt more like being on a boat with rolling waves and rocking around. The Prince Rupert one was different. It was more like horizontal shaking back and forth in really quick motions.

I work in emergency response and emergency management in BC, and I know there has been more emphasis lately put on earthquake preparedness.
The last "big one" hit about 270 years ago, and they tend to hit with regular intervals every 250-350 years. There is evidence of a tsunami going as far inland as Pitt Meadows. It followed topography though, so obviously not everywhere between there and the ocean was submerged.

You're weird for thinking it's weird.
Years ago I was wireline logging a well up near FSJ. Our first run was flawless, picked up the 2nd tool, ran in the hole and hit a bridge. That's not unusual but the rig couldn't ream through it and had to ream the entire hole all the way to bottom, about a thousand metres. Turns out there was an small earthquake right in between tool runs and it apparently shifted the lower formations enough that the well had to essentially be redrilled.
