Just win...I don't care if Zadorov plays with Gaudreau and Ritchie on the top line

I think the Monahan line may be about Skating speed and also protecting him from the abuse he’s been taking. Lewis and Lucic are decent forecheckers - maybe they can get him the puck in front of the net.

Love Sutter challenging the team to step up and take that spot beside Tanev. Love it.

Kylington will benefit from being paired with "Dad".

Is there another D man on the Flames that could benefit from it like Q.Hughes did?

Let's him off his leash so to speak.

I'm going to start Griess over Hellesuyck today in the hopes that the fantasy hockey gods "punish" me with a Swiss cheese performance out of Griess and a 45 save shutout against the Ducks for Hellesuyck.

Hoping for Kylington to have a great night alongside tanev. Very big difference than the opportunities he’s been given in the past in the regular season. He’s always been put into the lineup as a bottom pairing position. That meant he was already going to play limited minutes. On top of that… if he did make a mistake, the coach would immediately bench him/limit his minutes even more.

If he’s playing with tanev, he’ll be playing bigger minutes no matter what. He might play a more confident game knowing he’s not one mistake away from being benched. Which hopefully will lead to him making less mistakes overall.

I'll gladly eat crow if these 3 lines work, but on face value I think there's easily better places to slot these guys. Feel most sorry for Mangi, he should have either Coleman or Monahan with him (ideally both).

I wouldn't be so confident. If he really messes up, Sutter will swap Kylington and Valimaki during the game to see if Jusso can fill that spot. The only thing holding him back from starting there is that Valimaki and Gudbranson have done well together so far.

It’s possible. Unless Kylington looks terrible immediately in the game, I think Sutter will set his pairs for the night and leave it at that to give them a chance to gel.

I'd argue Hanifin DID benefit last year. Just two seasons ago I thought Hanifin was really shakey but he was solid from the moment he met Tanev

I hope Stone Draws in as a partner with Z.
If he can't play well with either Tanev or Stone he and BadBranson need to start sitting and we need to get Mackey back up and playing......I really like him much better than those 2 at this point .

Those 2 have been pylons thus far.

Must win game..... for me. We all know how important these 2 points in the end of the season. Start the road trip with a win should help these guys.
