I am happy that they have restricted these U.S. teams. It just wasnt fair having these older kids play. Nice to see the Regina Pat Canadiens back for this tournament, it has been a few years for them.

I would like too see them bring in 2-3 US teams and 3-4 Euro teams, lets the kids play the world best teams. Bring in teams from all places in Canada too.

			Just looking through this pagehttp://www.macstournament.ab.ca/awar...l_of_fame.html
Holy smokes have a lot of NHLers ever gone through that tournament. A lot of no-names on the list but also Mike Modano, Jarome Iginla, Mike Vernon, Wendel Clark and on and on.

I haven't been for years, but back in the 80's I went 3 years running to see my cousin's team the "Phoenix (AZ) Scorpions" get pasted every game. 20 -1 against Alaska once. Also saw former Flames owner Normie Kwong's son get in a good fight against them. The first year they came a couple players were at my parents house and they were absolutely fascinated with the snow, which they had never seen before. I should have taken that as a hint that they probably weren't favorites to win the tournament but I still cheered for them.
